After each job both sides rate each other and leave compliments like “On time” or “Paid on time”.
How disputes work
- 1. Either side reports the problem from the job's payment card — unpaid work, wrong amount, or work not done.
- 2. The job is frozen in “disputed” and the full history — messages, confirmations, transaction reference — is attached automatically.
- 3. Our team reviews within 48 hours and records the outcome.
- 4. Both people are notified in the app, and repeat offenders lose their badges and can be suspended.
Never pay to get a job. Work Connect Ghana never asks workers for a fee, and any employer who does can be reported from the job page.

How payment works
Both sides must confirm the money
The employer pays the worker directly, and the app records every step.
1. Work is done
The employer confirms the work is finished and the exact amount agreed (rate × number of days).
2. Employer sends money
Payment goes out by Mobile Money or bank transfer. The employer adds the transaction reference so you can check it.
3. Worker confirms
The worker taps “Yes, I received my money”. Nothing is marked paid on the employer's word alone.
4. Job closed
A receipt is generated and both sides can rate each other and leave compliments.
If the money never lands, the worker taps “I did not receive my money”. That opens a dispute with the full payment history attached, and our team reviews it before anything is closed.
Free for everyone while we launch. Later, employers may pay a small fee per hire, always shown before you post. Workers keep 100% of the agreed pay and never pay to apply.
